I think perhaps it will the reason being it I believe that Asus only used a windows set up RAID Array. I don't think there are any settings in the BIOS to create a raid array, not really sure on the G74 but the G75 only had the setting for RAID. So moving your hard drives to the new Motherboard may only require booting to the BIOS first off and changing that setting
Requardless you need to have a Drive /Volume Image. That way you can't lose you OS if it doesn't work out I use Macrium Reflect it has never failed me .
