Buying a G56JR a good idea?

Hi, I'm new to the forum so I hope this isn't the wrong section or anything.

I've had my Crosshair IV Formula for 3-4 years now, and now I need a laptop for my college so I've thought about the G56JR.
The thing is, I've read on the net that people are complaining about the graphics card and the fact that G56 isn't as good as they've expected it to be. Is the graphics card really such a bad issue in that price range? Should I get something other than a G56JR.

My two options are:
1. G56JR-CN169H

and the

2. G56JR-CN174H

depending on the extra money that I will have to spend on it (200 CHF).

So, does anyone own one of these and what are your experiences? Is it a relatively bad laptop to buy at this price range and what would you suggest me to by if it is?

Thanks in advance,

Well, yeah, that's pretty much what I've mentioned up in my reply.
I have an USB 3.0 2TB External HDD that works great, but I've thought about taking out the laptops HDD and putting in the SSD instead. But that leaves me with a perfectly functioning HDD that isn't in use. So, I thought about buying a caddy to put it into the optical drive bay. You can actually hotswap the optical drive and the HDD depending on which one you need.

It like this one because it's made just for the G56JR. And then you can take the optical drive and put it in one of these.

P.S. Maybe you're thinking why would I buy 2 things, a HDD caddy and a DVD drive bay, instead of buying only one, the HDD bay, so I could leave the optical drive in.
The reason is; I don't really use the optical drive very often.
Maybe 2-3 times in a couple of months.
So I'd rather have the HDD in in-case of taking the laptop with me somewhere and avoiding the hassle of taking the big-ass 3.5" external drive with the AC adapter with me.
