So imagine my surprise upon getting the laptop I really wanted for xmas, and it is missing some pretty imortant pieces.

So i got a G752VT-DH72 and it looks amazing. But although it came in the nice pretty box as they all do, this one quite literaly has no
accessories, heres the list...no booklets of any kind, no documentation, nothing....NO POWER SUPPLY...AND NO HARD DRIVE????

This was not an open box item or anything of the sort, it was purchased brand new by my mother, through a reputable seller.

so how do i proceed and has anyone encountered this....please help

Return it to where you bought it.
Was the seal on the box intact? Ive heard of some doozies in my day but this sounds more like the contents was pilfered through then returned to the shelf. Reputable sellers have asset control problems too. Hell I cant even go to Home Depot to but landscape lighting without first opening the box to check the contents. You have a better than 50/50 chance that anything that does not have a seal on it that cant be breached has been pilfered. Im more than sure that this is a case of scumbags. Even crappy QC wouldnt let a laptop with no drive and everything else missing slip buy. You wont get anywhere trying to put this back on the manufacturer and a hard time with the store as the first thing they will do is check for the contents. Not saying you would do such a thing but people routinely try to return items with missing parts or even empty boxes. We live in a dishonest society.

These laptops are pretty bare compared to previous models. No mouse/laptop bag, and just 2 very small black and white booklets. I had a wire tie and the power supply with those 2 small books and that was it. Even the previous models came with a microfiber cloth which was a nice touch, but not in this one. The manual is actually on the machine in PDF format. The power supply is packaged fairly well in the cardboard. If its not there, I would definitely return it as previously suggested. Sorry about the tough break on xmas. Bad luck man.
(ROG has simply become too expensive compared to the competition with same specs... 😞 )

The missing drive makes it obvious that its a return because most retailers remove hard drives for privacy reasons.
3d printed parts and accessories for the G751. You know you want something better than OEM ->https://www.shapeways.com/shops/aeolisio[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

We will investigate and found the reasons of those missing part.

Right now, we are suspecting the retailer or that someone open the box during the shipping process -> From pictures of snicol19 we can see the computer have been shipped out only in the product box. No other box around.
And don't forget, Keep pushing it !
