Bought G55VW; Sandisk SSD freezes, stutters and chokes

I bought the G55vw as an upgrade for my G60JX desktop replacement so I can run multiple applications across two screens. The Sandisk U100 SSD really spoils the experience. for light work it may be fine but when hit with multiple concurrent reads and writes is chokes. I have since found out that some G55vw laptops where supplied with a ADATA SSD that does not have these issues. I feel like I have been ripped off and am stuck with a lemon. Has anyone else experienced this problem? any suggested fixes? It has been sent back to the supplier for checking. I hope they can find a way to overcome this issue otherwise I may be switching my 6 year association with Asus laptops to another brand (venting my frustrations).

The problems with the U100. I seen some U100's that worked perfect and others that were close to HDD like speeds. It could be a firmware issue but the U100's been pretty spotty.
