Bluray drives recommended for my G751JT-CH71

hi guys, i plan to buy a bluray drive for the g751jt-ch71....

i have so far bought a panasonic bluray drive for this laptop but it would not fit. (it is in fact a laptop bluray drive, but the stock dvd drive in my laptop is yet even smaller than the one i bought.

any recommendations would be great.. also, if it can be a slot loader that would be a MAJOR help

so what u need to buy is a 9.5 mm drive . any slot loading 9.5 mm should fit some have ejection button some do not

Hey i am planning to upgrade my drive too. Did you finish doing the upgrade? did i work? is there a way u followed to remove the ddrive..

senju one screw removes the dvd drive when u remove your dvd drive google the model # then u can see if its a 9.5 mm drive then order a blu ray drive of the same size as whats in it now

DX6Or, which make / model number did you order, from where? Link to online data/order site? Read only Blu-ray, or writable?

I tried installing a 12.7 mm HDD caddy. Turned out its too large, so I have 9.5 coming in. Pretty sure 9.5 IS the correct size.
