Hello there! I have recently noticed that when I dont do anything at the Laptop for a few minutes or longer and then open up a folder or file, that the Laptop makes a "Beep-beep" sound from where the Disk Drive is.
Is that the drive booting up? Or the harddrive or something? And can this be silenced? I am running a G751JT currently and
Most likely what you are hearing is a mechanical chirp as the hard drive spins up. You could try changing advanced power settings to never turn off the hard disk while plugged in. I wouldn't do that with battery power because keeping the drive spinning will just reduce your battery life.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…
It's the blu ray drive checking if there is a disk inside. The same thing happens to me but only on boot/wake and after long idle times so I've got used to it.
