blu ray player issues

Hey every one

Im new and haveing issues with playing a blu ray with the bundled software.

Every time i try it says it is copy protected. any advice would be a great help

I'm assuming other DVD's play normally in your ODD.

Many content providers ship "regionless" DVD's to prevent their customers from having playback problems. On the opposite end of the spectrum is the provider of the "Avatar" DVD, whose Digital Rights Management prevents legally purchased copies from playing on many Blu-Ray systems. You can see the furor this generated if you search "Avatar Digital Rights Management" in your browser.

You may be dealing with a similar DRM issue with your specific Blu-Ray DVD. Check online for any reports.

Yea that's not a Asus problem but Any DVD works great on all the different protection schemes

Yes I supose, they've been around for quite a while and sell openly on the web. I haven't heard of anyone sueing them yet???? or anything about them being illegal?? If so would be good for me to know I work in some situations where it would not be good for me to any illegal software on my notebook???
