Big problem with my ASUS G750JX. Help me to solve that!
I have a problem with my notebook. When i first bought i had no problems.
Now I have slow performance problem. I'm selected max performance in power4gear hybrid, but again so slow performance. WIndows 8 taskbar is slow.

When i was upgraded to WIndows 8.1 it was so slow and slow gaming performance. Then I back to the Windows 8.0 same problem again in windows 8.0. (Restored to 8.0 with asus recovery partition.)

The Windows 8 interface is slow but gaming is perfect. I'm installing my games into SSD. Not to the HDD.
Sometimes the graphics cards lags.

PLease help me to solve this problem if you see this! 😞

Could you tell us:
your BIOS revision
how long you've had your current install of windows
how full your SSD is
possibly a list of your startup programs
what you're usually running

Possibility of a failing HDD?

Run HDTune Pro and tell us if it reports anything wrong with the drive... Another problem could simply be some kind of virus (Coin miners seems to be the new big thing, but they mostly use GPU power.)

No disk errors, bios ok, how about you run TaskManager while doing some of the things that you think are running slowly, and sort by CPU usage, and look for something stealing time.

And, just to be fair, here is my crystaldiskinfo result:

33799

What about the security/anti-virus software that might be getting in the way? You might try uninstalling McAfee and Install something else to see if the lag goes away... or reduce the number of scanning software to 1, if you have more than 1.

I'm uninstalled McAfee and installed new AntiVirus Avast FREE. Because it is so good for gaming. Here is it the task manager 33800

You need to click on the CPU tab to get it to sort by CPU - you have to click once and it sorts in reverse with the lowest CPU usage on top (lame Microsoft 😉 ), then click again and the little arrow reverses and shows top CPU processes on top.

Now, watch that taskmanager process list, and watch for anything that is taking lots of CPU while you do the tasks that run slowly.

Hopefully you will see something that you can isolate and disable or uninstall.

Without being there, and seeing the action / slowness it is difficult to do more for you...lets keep trying though...

I want to install Windows 7 on my ASUS. Windows 8 has much lags.
Is it possible ? I have the installation disk (64)bit. And the drivers for G750JX.

I don't recommend it. I haven't had any problems with Windows 8 or 8.1... there is more than enough horsepower in the G750 to cut through any lag. You have an SSD, there shouldn't be any lagging.

Have you disabled the Windows pagefile and hibernate, I doubt that is the problem, but it does take space and unneeded disk IO to support them.
