Best Place to Find Replacement Backlight Strip for g750 Keyboard?

Does anyone know where would be the best place to pick up a keyboard backlight board for a g750. I have a JS but there all the same anyway, I just don't want to have to buy the whole top case of the laptop just to get the backlighting. £90 is too much when I don't need the case and keyboard included. Has anyone tried requesting parts from the asusparts website or know anywhere in the UK that do parts?

So the board is coated copper so it was possible to scrape it to reveal an area to solder and now it works again like a charm. No more using a light like normal people again!

i lost my backlight a while ago. what did you do to fix it?




EDIT: found the fix. was not a hardware problem had to use the bt.exe fix

Can you be more specifics about bt.exe, i have this problem since i bought my g750jw but i couldn't fix it at all, or maybe its because of strip.
