G501 Warranty and Installing another drive

I have at the moment windows 8.1 , as most of us do, but I do plan on upgradeing to windows 8.1 pro student.I see no drivers for the pro version. My question is, will the drivers/everything work on the pro edition or I'll have to uninstall right away...
