I just disconnected and reconnected the battery while doing a thermal paste change and now somehow the battery indicates that it is at 0% charge. This is not true, since when I disconnected the battery it was at 100%, and also I can leave my laptop unplugged for over 15 min watching a youtube video without it shutting down due to low battery (like it should when it is at 0%).
Also the battery led keeps blinking red every second.
I checked the battery connector to the motherboard and even unplugged and replugged again.
I freshly reset bios.
I used MyAsus app for battery diagnosis, which says there is a problem, but it doesn't know which.
I check the battery report via powercfg.
My charger is fine (like said before, it worked perfectly before I disconnected battery).
Laptop works perfectly fine otherwise, and the CPU is over 35° cooler when playing a game compared to before.
Laptop is zephyrus G14 2021 (GA401QC-K2125T)
Any ideas why and how to repair this?
