So.. I was wondering if there is such an utility and do I sound stupid for saying this? The basic concept...
If (FPS < 48)
Then
Apply Overclock
Else
Default Clock Set
G74SX-AH71
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M 3GB GDDR5 VRAM
Display: 17.3-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080)
Processor: i7-2670QM (2.2 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.1 GHz)

i think that you could set it to do this using the Nvidia control panel withe the esa support wich is an extra download from the drivers page (Nvidia site) i will check up on this now
