Audio drivers

Sorry, I am just getting around to posting this question about an issue I observed while scrolling the device manager after purchasing the G75VX. I noticed that they loaded the Nvidia audio driver and the Realtek HD Audio driver at the factory. I was wondering should both of these audio drivers be on the system or is this an oversight by the factory to uncheck the audio portion of the video driver install?

Both drivers provide needed functionality. The NVIDIA audio driver provides audio specifically over an HDMI connection.

I was wondering what the Nvidia audio driver does. Thanks for clearing it up 🙂
