Asus Rog Scar III G531GW - Possible to get GSync on external GSync Monitor?

I have a Asus Rog Scar III G531GW (I7-9750h, RTX2070) and I'm wondering if it's possible to use GSync on an External GSync monitor with this machine? It is supposed to have HDMI 2.0b (which should support 240hz @ 1440p) and Displayport over USB Type-C.

I saw on this page that the GX501 seems to support GSync via "Displayport on USB-Type C"-connection. That should mean that it should work for the Scar III too right?

Just to update anyone who might stumble upon this thread. It works with Displayport via USB Type-C. I tried it yesterday at my friend's place using a Type-C to Display Port 1.2 cable, and got GSync working @ 144hz / 1440p

Thanks for the info. I am on the same specs as yours and planning to buy a 144hz gaming monitor. Is the mobile RTX 2070 able to perform high framerates on the external 2k monitor?
