It could be that they are cooling two seperate components and they run at variable speeds. Try a bios update using the EZ flash utility in the bios boot menu. You can download the latest bios version on the support page. unzip it and put it on a usb. boot into bios and go to EZ flash utility. find your usb and install. Also see if you have a fan controller option in the bios menu. Hope this helps!
