Does this model have upgrade potentials for a ssd without voiding the warranty? I have asked two retailers locally but they are unable to answer this question.

The upgrade potential (DONE BY YOU) is:

Upgrade the available two of the four ram slots (usually empty, ram installed on the back of the motherboard)

Upgrade the hard drives. Moving mechanical drive from bay 0 to bay 1, and placing SSD into bay 0.

Operating System can be moved over to the SSD easily with Asus BackTracker or cloning from one disc to the other.

You will NOT void your warranty (depends on country) if you upgrade with your own ram and drives.. however, if you break something during this exercise, you WILL void your warranty.

In short, you can upgrade ram and drives in the back, just don't break anything or you're alone.
