ASUS ROG G751 Windows 10 Recovery Image Backup Software Suggestions?

I have recently bought an Asus RoG G751 to be my new gaming laptop. The laptop is exactly what I was looking for apart from the OS being Windows 10, which I am not a fan of. Before I replaced the OS with Windows 7 I wanted to make a recovery image just in case something goes horribly wrong in the future. Looking both online and around these forums I saw using Asus Backtracer was the recommended method in the past, but it does not support Windows 10 as far as I can tell. Is there a new recommended method for creating a recovery image or should I just find and use a third party utility?

I have had real good luck using Macrium Reflect you can get the free version it works for Disk/Partition Images and cloning. You only need to pay if you wan to run scheduled back ups. Some people like Acronis True image, Paragon another I've heard of.

Since you going back to win 7, you should install it in UEFI mode SP 1 supports it. Be sure to Image your entire C:\ HD/SSD to in sure you can get back to a booting Win 10 UEFI restore.

You mention Backtracker, I think your right 10 is not supported? It really wasn't reliable there were lots of issue with it. All it really did was copy the Asus Recover partition to a bootable USB thumb drive.

Hello, since you mentioned the third party program, you could use AOMEI Backupper to create the recovery image besides Macrium Reflect. Just download the free version and it could solve the issue.
