Asus ROG G750 JM SSD & HDD, not seeing SSD in Disk Management? solved?

Hi,

I have owned my Asus ROG G750 JM laptop for some years now and I am very happy with it. But today I decided to buy an SSD and install it into the second empty bay. I now have a 750 GB HDD in bay 1 and a 1 TB Samsung 750 EVO SSD in bay 2. But the problem is that my new SSD doesn't show up in Disk Management. I have reopened my laptop and double checked that it is plugged in properly which it is.

What have I missed?

Thanks

First thing, does it show up in the BIOS? Does your BIOS require the ports to be enabled? Is it enabled and assigned the correct parameters in the BIOS?

Problem solved!!! 🙂 Just restarted my laptop, wen't into BIOS and then loaded back in to Windows 10. Opened my Disk Management and there it asked me how I wanted to setup my drive 🙂
