Hello good day everyone hope you can help me. I have an ASUS ROG G551JW that shuts down upon closing the lid. So what I did is, I downloaded the newest bios version available from ASUS website (v209) and flashed it using WinFlash. It solved the shutdown issue mentioned above but I noticed that the overall performance of the laptop slowed down considerably.
So what I did after was I flashed another bios version (v204) then the speed of my laptop became worse. I am not well versed with regards to the bios settings so I don't want to try my luck again. If someone has the same issue or knowledge about this, please help me and let me know. Thanks.
