Asus GPU Tweak won't stick

My settings are:

GPU MHz: 932

GPU Voltage: 837

Memory Clock: 5000

Frame Rate Target: 0

Display Refresh Rate: 85 Hz


When ever I start my computer, I have to manually press 1 (My saved setting) to make my card overclock again. Why does this happen? I thought the setting would stick.

What can I do?

I think I fixed it by checking "Keep Setting for next start up on close application"

Just be sure to uncheck that box if you are playing with settings near the edge of stability, or it will set those unstable settings again at the next boot.

The setting is a bit hidden, in the settings go to the Tune tab, then the Tune Settings tab, and check the box next to:

"Keep setting for next start on close application"

Whatever the last setting was before the app closes, or Windows shuts down and closes it, is set on next boot...

Be careful to not check that box until you have a stable setting 🙂
