Hi there,
Since the wireless card is not so good, I'd like to solve this (before buying the laptop). Could you tell me if it is possible to replace the DVD player with a wireless card modul? I read somewhere that it is possible to replace the DVD player with a HDD, so I thought it would be cool to do the same with a new (additional) wireless modul and solve this weak wireless performance.
I hope you can give me some advice!
Best,

I think that the Wireless module is a PCI connection the only available connection in the DVD Bay would be a SATA so I'm not saying that it can't be done but I haven't heard of anyone doing this!
If you want a custom Wireless installed I suggest you buy from a Custom Vendor Where you will get one installed and stay in warranty.
Which SSD you purchase is a personal preference. SSD's create so little heat compared to a hard drive that I would hardly consider that an issue. these G75 G55 G46 all run very cool, with the exhaust exiting out the back there really are no issues of heat at the keyboard or track pad at all.
