Asus G75V upgrade graphicard!

Hello guys i want to know if i can upgrade my Asus G75VW graphicard with a >>> G750JZ GTX 880M 4GB GDDR5 Video card <<<
i purchase it and install it but did not work i guess card was damage because was used, going to return it, but i want to touch base with you guys and see if this is possible or either different graphicard ..... please need a good feed back thank you.

Hi there!
First of all there is one thing you should know before doing that.
Your laptop has bios and in g75 bios is nothing said about gtx880!
You need to mode it first.
Even if you mod it there is no warranty that it will start because it was designed only to work with gtx660m and gtx670m which are not same as gtx880 even if you look at power consumption.
And last and most important is cooling gtx880m is pretty hot and g75 is not designed to output all heat from it even if you will find any way tu put stock cooler on it.
The solution for you may be the external desktop gpu connected to your laptop by GDC beas etc.

found this link...sorry asus, it's MSI, but an interesting new feature to gaming laptops.
Wonder if ASUS will be doing the same???
