Fix absolutely nothing.
Support auo tn panel. Really asus? Really? Seriously?

Fastboot still cannot be saved. Still start very slow.
Black screen for 30 second now. Even worst

This is the best your R&D team come up with?

Im buying a G752VY-DH72 from someone and was wondering, have they fixed the NVMe support for a Samsung 950 Pro drive? I remember before there were issues with the BIOS only allowing AHCI mode to be enabled, which hurts performance of the NVMe drives right>?

NVMe is the only protocol that the 950 pro runs on. You cant put an AHCI drive in the M2 slot.

The only difference that was being seen is prior to BIOS 211 everything was behind a raid controller and the Samsung software could not see past it. With 211 you have the ability to select SATA mode which is labeled as AHCI or Raid which is a misnomenclature. Is should be labeled Raid on or off. With AHCI selected the raid controller is disabled and allows the Samsung magician software to see the drives.
There is no performance degradation between using native drivers and the Samsung drivers. This has been proven multiple times in several threads. The only thing you gain from Samsung magician is the ability to upgrade firmware of the SSDs controller, everything else can be done manually within the OS.

Rapid mode is simply a hybrid RAM drive. Its permanently allocates some of your RAM for this operation so it cannot be used for anything else. Its used like a buffer and the only time you will see any improvement is when running disk benchmarks with small block sizes. If you increase the block size the performance spikes then tanks miserably making it perform worse than with the rapid mode disabled. As soon as the buffer is full it takes a serious nose dive.

Please go for GX700Vo If have enough budget, or skip G752. Wait few month then will have new product available.

In this update, they silently updated the intel RST optionROM from 14.6 to 14.8, which includes some performance improvements for NVMe devices, from my own benchmarking. My IOPS with my samsung 950 RAID 0 went up to 375000 from 320000.

From what BIOS version did you upgrade to v212?

I hadn't tried it yet but this looks like a reason to. Ill run benchmarks before and after to see what I get.

Are you talking about G753? GX700vo is almost 2x more expensive then G752vy,right?

This is really a suprise for me not to fix G752 bios and release G753, if that is what you are suggesting.
Why ASUS BIOS engineers add support for AUO LCD panel and skip correcting FastBoot and m.2 PCIe v3.0 port/s switching to PCIe v2.0 after STR is a puzzle to me, and makes you wonder
what is going on among Asus bios technicians.

A new update 213 has released days ago and it has corrected the Fastboot issue and more.

Well Fastboot has been corrected, but certainly not RAID SSD slow down after os resume. The problem still persists, resulting in SSD achieving only 820MB/s read after STR.

Well I know switching to AHCI ammends this problem, but I have two 950PROs in RAID. Ahh, are Asus bios technicians not capable to correct two problems at one time?
Is it really that hard to figure out why pcie v3.0 m.2 port switches to pcie v2.0 speeds?
