Hello guys. I've been wasting my time today with an issue to which I can find no solution whatsoever. I've tried, for the past 15 hours, multiple fixes found online in literally over 50 searches but nothing works. Here's the thing.
I bought a Asus RoG G752VT with Windows 10 recently and I've been having a mindbreaking problem with it. It has random internet drops while browsing the net with Chrome, while downloading anything with Steam, while downloading World of Tanks through its downloader and while downloading any type of torrent through two different clients. It does the same thing wired and wireless. I have another ASUS laptop connected the same way to the same router and has no problem but it has Win 7.
What I've tried so far:
Reinstalling Windows 10 four times from 3 different sources.
Reinstalling LAN and WiFi drivers from multiple sources and different drivers.
Different solutions related to Steam, WoT and Chrome, regarding internet connection configurations and driver setups.
Nothing worked. I can't seem to figure out what is the problem. The laptop works perfectly fine otherwise. But it has these random internet crashes that just destroy the beautiful experience that this laptop could be. I've been looking everywhere on the laptop through other software that might interfere but... nothing.
Did anyone with this laptop model encounter the same problems? Or does anyone have any solution that can't be easily found on the Internet? Don't ask me if I've updated the drivers from the original Asus site, for example. I've tried all these "usual suspects", I'm not new to PC troubleshooting.
Please, you guys are my last hope. It's frustrating.
I'm here if you need any extra info.
Thanks!
P.S. By "internet drops" I mean that downloads work fine for some time then 0 speed suddenly. Then they start again and so on. And Google Chrome's tabs just crash randomly. I have a 300 Mbps connection, top speed of 32 MB/s so bandwidth is not an issue.
