And where is my "speed" for 512GB SM951?

Where is your report of what BIOS version you are running?

Dont spread false information the g751 supports the sm951 at full 3.0 x 4 speed multiple users have proven it. If you dont know something for certain it doesnt help when you make things up. Your comment might make someone waste money.

Bios version 209, Windows 10, G751JY.. Anything more?

I believe most of us with the SM951 (AHCI) and G751JY are getting around 1500-1600 MB/s in Crystal. I put couple of hours on this when setting up my new laptop but the multiplier is stuck at 5x (e.g. not full 8x speed when under load) in hwinfo even if it reports as PCIE 3.0. This has nothing to do with RST either as SM951 defaults to MS driver. It goes without saying that I have a clean install and tried with bioses 207-209 with stock chipset/updated chipset drivers as well as stock RST/latest 1029 RST from intel as I am running 250gb evo in the same bay. I also tried everything but SM951 unplugged and in both Windows 8.1/10 (also clean installs). I guess there is something (bug?) in the new builds of G751JY (at least when it comes to european g-sync models?) that prevents the full speed of SM951 even if hw is at PCIE 3.0 level. Build date for mine is 2015.06. I did not try with older bioses so may be that might fix the issue.. When I get a chance I will put my drive on a desktop and try it there. Lenovo had these SM951s which were limited in performance due to power savings but they could be identified by different product coding.

In fact, there is only one report (screens shot) posted here by aeolisio which clearly shows the full speed (what I have found). As I stated earlier, there might be some minor hw changes as also the 3d printed bracket (very much recommended) does not fit 100% perfect as the tabs are a bit (may be 2-3 mm) too fat/high and the back panel does not sit flush after install. It is ok but there is a slight difference compared to standard ssd bracket. I have mine installed with heatsinks attached with ac thermal adhesive and temps are under control (never seen temps over 76-78 c when benchmarking). I put heatsinks also on Evo.

If those who get (confirmed) full speeds can post some more detailed specs (bios version, build date for laptop, chipset version etc.) that might help others..

In the meantime I am enjoying my SM951 in full as it is plenty fast as it is

yeah, my benchmark is extremely close to the one posted a few posts back. i am also on win 10, bios 209 and while my 951 runs very fast, meaning i match several of aeolisio's figures in some categories, it is nowhere near the higher figures of aeolisio's.

aeolisio's Crystal Disk Mark screenshot shows a 256GB OEM Samsung SM951 (AHCI) M.2 SSD that is over 1/2 full yet has a 1474MB/s Write?
That is 274MB/s above Samsungs' rating of 1200MB/s Write for the 256GB OEM Samsung SM951 PCIe (AHCI) M.2 SSD, wtf?

Try these to get better results. Even my NVMe drive was at 1700MBps seq read without optimizing settings.
