might be a 3rd party firewall that you've installed.
Try to DISABLE/UNINSTALL your firewall ( or any internet security software ).
if this indeed solves the problem, update or replace to another firewall vendor.
also, take note of programs that eats your MEMORY, as alt+tab slow switching is related to HIGH USAGE OF RAM & PAGE FILE ralated.
Thus, may, if you'll enlarge your windows page files, it might help.
also check to see if your system uses the right amount of installed RAM sticks... may be from your traveling back and forth from home to office one of the ram sticks. moves, thus you got lower ram amount then what you should have.
also, if you got Intel's WiFi card... note that they are number 1 in the market... in making trouble.
try update your current drivers... try from Asus, Microsoft, Intel themself.... play with that.
