ASUS G751 weird laggy problem with notebook not internet when using work WiFi

Hi guys,

can some one help me with the weird problem I have with my G751.
The laptop works just fine until I go to work and connect to the WiFi there. When I connect the laptops feels very laggy. Not the internet connection but the laptop. Like when I alt+tab to switch between tabs it does it very slowly.
It's even slow when I'm typing (the letters appear slowly).
I'm pretty sure the problem comes when I'm connected to the office wifi, because I don't have this problem at home. I've even tried disconnecting the laptop from the office wifi when at work and it works fine. But when I connect to the wifi the problems starts.

Check if there is a process that's using all your CPU.

No the CPU stays at 9% used and the ram at 59%.

Uninstall the wifi drivers completely, then reinstall them from ASUS Support page.

might be a 3rd party firewall that you've installed.
Try to DISABLE/UNINSTALL your firewall ( or any internet security software ).
if this indeed solves the problem, update or replace to another firewall vendor.

also, take note of programs that eats your MEMORY, as alt+tab slow switching is related to HIGH USAGE OF RAM & PAGE FILE ralated.
Thus, may, if you'll enlarge your windows page files, it might help.

also check to see if your system uses the right amount of installed RAM sticks... may be from your traveling back and forth from home to office one of the ram sticks. moves, thus you got lower ram amount then what you should have.

also, if you got Intel's WiFi card... note that they are number 1 in the market... in making trouble.
try update your current drivers... try from Asus, Microsoft, Intel themself.... play with that.

Do you have a network (work) security point of contact - you should check with that person first to make sure you can setup a system - then make sure it's working properly on any accessible work node. Personally I wouldn't take a personal laptop into a work place ever due to the complications of being on a work network with personal data, and vice versa... there could be a number of things from them stopping your bandwidth or hacking if it's open and you are just connecting - figure your not the only person(s) doing so...

... as an example - I had a client - a court house in a major city (to not be named) and the client shared a wiring closet with the other building complex tenets... and they had a problem of one of the other tenets tapping into the courts network for net access - which completely compromised the whole network security of both... needless to say it was something of a mess before we secured (and rebuilt the whole network).

I think if you are having issues on only the work, and only when connected - you should consider your being logged, or otherwise watched, or even possibly worse, so I would def. check to see what kind of LAN policies and such that are in place - they should if allowed have you connect to a secure but for personal work systems port and it should be all good... unless it's not all good, in which case I would be very concerned your activities are being observed and recorded.

Hi guys. Just wanted to report back for this topic. I found what the problem was.
It was a driver for Samsung M2070 printer. The old driver that I had was causing the problem. After I uninstalled it and reinstalled a new one for win 10 everything works just fine.
