Hello all RoG fans!

First sorry about my bad English,

Recently i was re-paste my CPU/GPU and everything was fine until i completly disassemble optical drive to clean the laser and other dust inside. But now don't know how to put back together. Actually don't know how to align those small little pieses.

To better understand, here are the pistures:

First pistures is optical drive - picture taked from bottom

Second is where the problem is: I need to align these five pieses on third pictures

Anyone know how to do it?

You're lucky I have one laying around.

Be careful putting it back together, there's a tab at the top right (looking at it like in the picture) and a tab near the middle. If you break these tabs the metal cover won't fit correctly.

My optical drive is slightly different, but basically that's it

Now i have a question, on first picture the arrow show the white little piece. What is the purpose of it since it is not connected to anything?
And what about that spring on second picture? Can i put it somewhere or to throw it?

It's hard to say what it does, it looks like it pushes the arm for the lock back in place. Without it, the drive might not be able to stay closed. So yes, you need it.

Here's another picture from a Lenovo T430, you can see that spring that you're missing.
