ASUS G73SW-A1 - Is ther a way to toggle resolutions?

I would like to be able to toggle resolutions between the native res of 1080p and 1600 x 1040, using keyboard, key combinations. There are some occasions where the text using the native res (on the internet, email, filling out a form. moving files around within explorer, etc.) is just too small.

I know that using an AMD GPU and CCC (like on my desk top PC), "Hot Keys" can be set up to perform this process. I have spent a fair amount of time trying to do this within the NVidia video card software, to no avail. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

I still wasn’t able to figure out how to get Hot Keys to work in Nvidia. I did, however, find a small program called “HRC – hotkey resolution changer” version 1.5 that worked exactly for what I wanted. Once downloaded and launched, it’s a small program that loads into the task tray and allows you to set up hotkeys for up to 8 resolutions. I put a shortcut into the startup folder and it now launches each time the laptop is booted up. I have two resolutions set up. One for the native resolution; CTRL+ALT+1 and one for a 1600 X 1040 res at CTRL+ALT+2. I originally had an issue with the program locking up (using Win 7 professional 64 bit). Once I restarted the PC all was well. Thought this might help others. Here's the link http://funk.eu/hrc/
