Asus g53sx

Just bought an ASUS G53SX and it's not as quiet as I had imagined. I can hear it very well and it's nearly as loud as a desktop. The casing is also slightly vibrating which is kinda annoying when I put my hands on it.

How loud is it supposed to be? Should I compare it to a Mac (which is really silent)?

if theres a cd in the drive then mine vibrates a bit. but running games (high stress load/fans 100%) no vibration and only a slight -med sound, but not as quiet as macbooks.
