i bought this laptop a few months ago and overall it is great except one thing. it has GPU heating problems. i found out that in normal gaming it runs 80°C which isnt normal. then i decided to run a Furmark and it hit 92 !! so for comparison i looked at what notebookcheck's review was and they never went above 75 on furmark. so my question is should i just replace it (got it from bestbuy out of warrenty) contact asus about it. or just open it up and repaste(does this void warrenty) also i have never done a laptop before.
Sounds alot like a heating issue. Something to do with the heatsink or the thermal paste not spread evenly. I would suggest you do a repasting. Heatsink problems shouldn't occur in a brand new computer.
