Asus Fan Filter Checker

Hi guys,

Last week I got a popup message from the Fan Filter Checker saying that was time to clean the filters; and when I open the laptop I saw that this was really necessary (I have been using my G75VW for almost 5 months).

But know I can not reset the usage time in the App; I used the reset option and reinstalled the software but still keeps showing 0 hours left.

Any idea of how to solve this issue?

Cheers.

It's not counting down... It's counting up...

It's says Estimated Fan Usage Time; no where does it says time left...

Easy Fix: go to add/remove programs and uninstall it. Do you seriously need an app running using (miniscule) system resources, telling you to clean your filter. Just do it yourself intermittently.

fan fittle just monitor to few hours, it will pop message to say clean fan, if you don't want , just remove in control panel.

No there's only a reset button on it you cant change the time of the FAN filter Checker.

lol

You change your OS and everything is deleted. How can you set then your time to your 460 hours in that programme....

it's starts again at 0 because the file that’s counting the hours is reseted when you have new OS or reinstalled your OS.
