Hi, I just bought a ROG Strix G731GU and tried to put yellow keystone in the slot. Then when I saw diskmgmt.msc (Disk Management), there was an unallocated disk of 1.39 GB.
May I add a New Simple Volume to the disk?

You may be able to expand the primary partition of an external drive by right-clicking on the partition and choosing Expand.

You can do either, new volume or just expand that one.

Thank you, I'm still curious as to why the shadow drive is given an unallocated drive in the factory default.

mine dony pop up like that, ive always had to initialze the drive, set up the volume type then select the size. I always leave about 5% unallocated on SSDs for trim.
