Anyone else have a Explorer.exe - application error on their G74sx?

For the last 3 weeks I have been haveing the following error message:

Explorer.exe - application error
The instruction at 0x800051da referenced memory at 0x0285c000. The memory could not be written.
Click OK to terminate the program.

I get this error whenever I go to the taskbar and select the windows explorer folder immediately get the application not able to run, trying to find the solution to the problem then get the error message above.

I also get the error when I go to start, and then computer.

I have a Asus G74sx 3D model, running windows 7 Ultimate, 16gb ram.

I have used the recovery partition to bring the computer back to factory defaults, installed all the windows updates, all the asus updates for my laptop using Asus Live Update. It worked fine for a day then it went back to the same error. I have run Norton 360 for malware and such, even though it was a clean install, and it found no problems. I have not installed any other programs.

PLEASE HELP! I am unable to access my drives to get to my data.

Sounds like a ram stick could be bad. Take the first 2 out and start again qnd see if the problem persists. If so try each stick individualy.

Bear in mind i could be completly wrong.

Try uninstalling ASUS WebStorage. It has been implicated in Explorer.exe crashes and has its .DLL listed in your 2nd Application Error.

I uninstalled webstorage. Unsure what the other one is about. Any clues on how to fix it?
