ANY problems or issues regarding the ASUS ROG G752VS-XS74K OC Edition?

I would like to know of ANY problems or issues regarding the ASUS ROG G752VS-XS74K OC Edition?

(There aren't many reviews regarding this model...if any...nor any reported issues I have found other than some display bleed concerns with units from Amazon and one other person on the ROG Forums with an overheating issue.)

Thank you!

@jmike
I am pretty sure that after sending your unit to ASUS...if they were to say replace it...even if it is still in time to return it to Amazon...your return would not be accepted as it would not be the same serial numbered unit they sold you which would void the return to them.

@Everyone
Also, Amazon is a Monster in itself.

I can tell you that when I had a long run of shipping and damage issues with Amazon due to their lack of proper packing/packaging as well as receiving defective after defective laptops (repeat)...Amazon closed both mine and my wife's accounts afterwards (also too never open another account for they will be closed as well). A long story short, Amazon closed our accounts because it was costing them too much money to keep replacing the unit...and in shipping...so there response was to close our accounts...trying to quote some policy....too avoid taking responsibility and avoid continuing to help solve the problems/issues because it was easier and cheaper.
NOTE: ASUS has done a similar thing to us as well regarding correcting issues with defective units.

Best to avoid Amazon and not trust them because sooner or later they will fail you...and like the old saying "stab you in the back".

That...I can promise you from experience...and not just my own!

True...there will always be defects...and or shipping issues..etc...no matter what company or where you purchase from etc...but what makes the difference is how they handle or provide customer service to you to correct the problem and or issues.

Sadly...ASUS customer service and RMA/repairs service...or lack there of...do NOT normally provide good customer service or care in handling issues...also speaking from experience...just as many others have in this and/or other forums.

Unfortunately, ASUS products are normally the better quality item compared too the price ratio = Meaning: ASUS products are generally the best bang for the buck. However, as is said by others, "you have to take the bad with the good" (Good quality (generally) vs bad support and/or service).

My friend has this computer and having error that the GPU has been disconnected from the computer , a Directx 11 error. Does anyone know how to fix it ? He has it a lot , almost instant when playing Battlefield 1 multiplayer 1070M , we tried everything, different Windows, Fresh OS , Windows 10 x64 , Nvidia Drivers , settings , It works fine on low,medium, but when on Ultra is can crash almost instant or couple minutes, some other games just crash without error. like Far Cry Primal.
When it crash the screen becomes with very fast red lines and becomes black, the computer still works and doesn't freeze or anything. but there is Display driver crashed and has been recovered in the eventviewer and the clock speed stuck and Gsync stop working.

Cpu Temp can reach 95c+ GPU is 75c+ max

Have you tried reading and performing the steps here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?91620-G752VS-XS74K-Overheating-Issue ?

Also, have they updated the bios? Information regarding this is also found in the above thread. (Make sure to use the correct link to do so.)

Due to the EXCESSIVE Display/Screen Bleed on the Brand New ASUS ROG G752VS-XS74K OC Edition I received, I have returned it to the place of purchase...and after they verified all of the units they checked had the same issue...many were reported being even worse!

Apparently, display/screen bleeding is a common issue with this model and for 120Hz or better screens in general.

Count yourself lucky or very fortunate if you do not have this issue.

Best of luck!
