Any G701vik owners around? Questions about fan

Hello guys,

I am about to buy this laptop as a second hand since I found a nice deal.

Fan noise is very critical for me so I would like to ask if an owner can share a video or experiences with standard load fan noise and extreme mod fan noise?

Am I also able to tweak the fan speed since I do play old games sometimes which doesn't require that much power.

Yes generally speaking Asus G series notebooks are very quite. I haven't seen a G701 so I can't say for sure

Asus does not supply any fan control program.

Fan control is from the BIOS and is controlled by CPU and GPU temps, if you not stressing the GPU the fan will idle.
Again not sure about the G701 but all the other G series have fan for each CPU and GPU each have there own fan and fan control profile.

Also note that G GL GX are 3 different notebooks they are not all the same.

I have used G750jz and G751jy and very happy with the experience. I heard that G752vs is also silent but quite the opposite with G701vik. For this I would like to hear from an end user how is the experience and would be nice hear it with a video.*
