Any G46VR Update News? Release Date?

Is there any official release date in the US for the G46VR? I have seen it on a lot of European sites but nothing here in the US.

Yeah Im full dying to get this laptop. Any news would be great. Would love to know, because if no successor to the g46vw is planned to be released anytime shortly ill go out and buy a g750 tomorrow.

hi guys I've discovered the g46 vr accidentally... i was burned the board of my g46 vw, and then i bought another on aliexpress with the the reference of the same model... when i mounted it and turned it on... for my surprise on aida said that my model is g46vr and not g46vw like i was expecting

the bad notice was that most of the original drivers on my e-support don't wok... but that was nothing when i discovered that this board has an upgrade until 32GB of ram, and the nvidia is the gtx 760m instead of the old gtx 660m.. something crzy, because the board layout is simply equal at the old g46 vw, the components package is the same.

the great trouble are the drivers, in particular the nvidia driver... because the original nvidia driver for gtx 760m simply doesn't work, and the site of the asus doesn't recognize this model of pc

i just called to asus support of my country, Portugal, and they don't knew this model.

I downloaded the driver 311.59 and it works, but the interaction between intel and nvidia is no good, anyone knows an official link to download the drivers for this model..

What do you mean it supports 32GB of ram? Have you tested the 16GB dimms in this board? I just purchased a G46VR and have verified it has a GTX760m. This GPU basically has double the performance in my compute apps so I'm happy.

What kind of trouble is the interaction between the Intel and Nvidia giving you? Try installing the standard intel drivers and the the standard Nvidia drivers from intel and Nvidia website instead of ASUS's website?

I have nothing ASUS driver or software related on my system G46VW. I did a clean install of windows 8.1 on my system and using all the standard drivers. Everything is working fine.
