If i burn a copy on a blank dvd, does it burn and save the exact condition and updates of my current windows 7 installation with the updated service pack and all its updates?
Does it also copy all my softwares and newly installed programs and files?
What happens if i decide to get an SSD, will i be able to use the DVD i made with AI recovery to install windows with the exact same thing i had on my HDD or do i need to do a clean install from scratch?

It will be done from scratch
So the AI recovery if i burn to dvd will just burn the windows 7 installation and service packs and all updates? So that means i can use that same dvd i burn with ai recovery to an SSD right?
yes, you can use the same recovery disks to install windows and apps with factory defaults to an ssd, but it is a clean factory state windows (i.e. without any service packs, updates, newly installed programs, and files; ai recovery is not a cloning program. it can only create DVDs based on the factory defaults)
