Sounds like the flash may have went okay (?), or you can get into the bios at least, but it doesn't see your SSD drive anymore, so keeps booting into the bios instead of Windows?

1. Did you notice if your SSD drive is detected in the bios under the 'advanced' menu/SATA Configuration or 'Boot' menu boot option priorities?
I always reload the bios defaults and saving after flashing the bios since you can sometimes see problems if you don't do this although I was surprised to see a post from someone that reported their system stopped working after doing this.
Unless you just want to downgrade the bios as in item #2 below and not fool around with the 223 bios anymore, I would still try loading the bios defaults to see if it makes any difference.

2. You might want to try to get more suggestions first, but if it seems like your SSD drive is just not compatible with the 223 bios (?? not sure if this is very likely or possible) and you want to downgrade your bios later, check this post from dstrakele (thanks for the help dstrakele 🙂 ) about it.

Good luck!

See if you can do a CTRL+HOME type of Crisis BIOS Flash to downgrade your BIOS as discussed in http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?31177-bios-downgrade&country=&status=. Then use the EasyFlash utility in the BIOS to upgrade to version 223 (if you dare) with the 223 BIOS file extracted to a USB flash drive formatted to a single FAT32 partition.

Hmm.. was also wondering if you were running Win7 or Win8 and if you see any bios settings in the 'boot' menu for UEFI boot or an option to enable CSM and if there is an option under 'security' to disable/enable secure boot.

If the hard drive is detected in the bios and you see some of those settings, we might be able to figure out a way to boot to your SSD drive again although I may be wrong about this, but wanted to throw it out there before you start re-flashing or downgrading the bios.

I believe I misunderstood @jeeheon's problem and Albert interpreted it correctly. @jeeheon is advised to ignore my previous post.

Glad to hear you could solve it (and it wasn't another bad flash) and thanks for the update.

I don't know enough about it, but I thought you normally want to enable secure boot for Win8 installations although if you originally installed Win8 with those settings, maybe you don't want to for this installation.
Anyway, might be something we want to look into if anybody is interested (start a new thread?).
