I got my computer a few days ago and I'm currently dual booting Win 7 and Linux Mint 17.1, both x64. I did this with the intention of using Windows for games and Linux for everything else.
My only problem is that I'm missing a few drivers for Windows.
According to the Windows 7 Device Manager, I'm missing:
-my ethernet controller driver
-USB controller driver? I can connect and use USB devices, but my Logitech Gaming Software does not see my joystick and gamepad. They work on my other computers. The controllers themselves are good, and funny enough Windows can see and recognize them, but the actual Logitech software cannot.
-BCM20702A0 driver
-SM bus controller driver
Also, I'm having issues with my sound. While the onboard speakers work, the headphone jack does not, and neither do the volume buttons on the keyboard. They work fine with Linux but not Windows.
Has anyone else ever dealt with this? Do you know or know where I can find the make/model of these components and thus search for drivers? The Asus website only has Win8 stuff...
