2560x1080 AOC Display not working on G752VY GeForce 980M

Just upgraded from my G751 and this AOC 2963 (2560x1080) monitor worked fine via HDMI cable. I connected it to my G752VY and it says no signal. I have tried changing many settings and disabling G-Sync but still will not show up. any ideas?

So, i found out that if i use a HDMI from laptop to dual DVI to monitor i can get a picture but only 1920x1080. HDMI to HDMI on G751 worked fine at 2560x1080

I think HDMI only supports 1080, you would need to use your display port to get higher Resolutions
