1 Year old G75vw 2x Black screen on launch with 1 RMA trip and now noise/vibration

Bought it a year and 4 months ago and got the 3 year full coverage warranty from NCIX canada. The warranty covers any physical issues with the laptop and if they cannot fix it they will give me a new one.

I had one issue 3 months after purchase where one day the screen did not boot with the computer. I took it to ncix and they sent it to ASUS for repairs. Asus kept it for two months before I got it back and the message with it was basically "nothing is wrong with it so we did no repairs". The tech I took it to at NCIX saw the black screen though.

It worked for a year or so until now I got the issues again. For 3 days now the humming has been getting louder coming from the top right corner around where the gpu or cpu are (near the DEL/BACKSPACE keys). The humming is in fact not vibrating through the pc. Last night the pc's screen went black for about 10 seconds and restarted giving me a nice message saying that basically my "GPU: GeForce gtx 670m has suffered a crash but managed to recover."

Today the screen would not start again but after some attempts I actually manged to boot it. It is still humming loudly even though I have no programs running and I set it to the lowest settings in power4gear.



Should I demand a new one? Because they obviously didn't fix it last time and I had to wait two months. I don't trust them now.

Well if you could get them to give you an new one go for it.
Otherwise what are your GPU temps doing?
If your going to do another RMA I would suggest your PM cl-albert here he can be helpful getting the repair station to actually fix your NB
If NCIX gives you a new Notebook, thoroughly test it right away to insure everything is working.
You can use Hwinfo64 to see what your GPU load, Temp and fan speeds are doing. Run sensors only or if you open the full program click on the Sensor Tab. Note what your CPU is doing also.
