Just bought this device, and noticed 2 Glaring Issues with the Speaker Sound.
1. Sound Crackling.
When playing audio from the built-in speakers, there was noticeable crackling several times a minute.
I removed the driver and reinstalled it, but it was still there. Finally managed to stop the crackling by disabling all audio enhancements with the tick box.
(After reinstalling the audio driver, the Dolby Atmos option was missing from the settings).
2. Sound Quality is Horrific.
Audio sounds like it's playing from a piezo tweeter in a tin can. There's no EQ, so you're stuck with it as is, or have to install 3rd party software.
Asus, please save our ears, and release an update that improves the speaker sound, and maybe add an EQ
