Valorant Stuck on loading Screen on Asus Rog Flow X13

PTL
Level 7

Hello,
My laptop is The Asus Rog Flow X13 GV301RC - LJ004W
I have the latest Bios update 331

When I open Valorant, the game gets stuck on the loading screen.
I’ve updated everything: system updates, graphics drivers, and updates from "My Asus" and "Armory Crate."
I’ve also tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Valorant and Vanguard. I attempted allowing Vanguard through the firewall and disabling certain services.
So I’ve tried many solutions from YouTube, but none of them have worked. I also contacted Riot Games support, and they’ve been sending me solutions for the past three days, but nothing has resolved the issue.

The strange thing is that I was able to play Valorant before, but all of a sudden, it stopped working.
If anyone knows how to fix this issue or has encountered and solved this problem, please let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

1. Temperature:

  1. The Rog Flow X13, with its powerful hardware packed into a compact design, can run quite hot.
  2. High temperatures can lead to thermal throttling, where the CPU/GPU automatically reduce performance to prevent overheating.
  3. This can do game freezes, stutters, or even crashes.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Use a reliable monitoring tool (like MSI Afterburner or GPU-Z) to observe CPU and GPU temperatures while playing Valorant.
  2. Utilize a cooling pad to enhance airflow underneath the laptop.
  3. Ensure the vents on your laptop are free from dust and debris.
  4. Use compressed air to clean them gently.
  5. If you're comfortable, you can reapply thermal paste to your CPU and GPU.
  6. This can improve heat transfer between the components and the cooling solution.
  7. If you're comfortable with system settings, undervolting your CPU and/or GPU can reduce temperatures and maintain performance.
  8. However, this requires careful research and experimentation.

2. RAM Issues:

Faulty RAM modules can cause a variety of problems, including game crashes, freezes, and blue screens of death.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool.
  2. This will perform a series of tests on your RAM to check for errors.
  3. If the test finds no errors, try reseating the RAM modules in their slots.
  4. Ensure they are properly seated and making good contact.

3. Storage Problems:

If you're using an SSD, bad sectors or other storage issues can cause game loading problems.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Run the Windows Check Disk utility (CHKDSK) to scan your drive for errors and attempt to repair them.

4. GPU Compatibility:

While less common, there might be a minor incompatibility between your specific GPU and the latest Valorant update.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Try rolling back your GPU drivers to a previous stable version.
  2. You can usually do this through your graphics card manufacturer's control panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel, AMD Radeon Software).

5. If All Else Fails:

Clean Windows Installation:

  1. A clean installation of Windows can resolve many persistent issues.
  2. This involves wiping your hard drive and reinstalling the operating system from scratch.

Contact ASUS Support:

If you've exhausted all other options, contact ASUS Support. Explain the issue in detail, including the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. They may have specific diagnostic tools or troubleshooting procedures for your Rog Flow X13 model.
