ROG FLOW Z13 2025 64GB - Unstable Performance

Dear all Flow Z13 2025 users.

I've noticed that I have performance issues like lagging or freezing, even when i'm not on gaming (because mostly i'm using this for work), even when i just opening powerpoint or google slides and browsers, or even explorer.

I'm setting up the memory allocation to AUTOMATIC in the Armoury Crate, because i use it for game, creative works (adobe apps, figma), and casual usage (watch, browse, etc)

Is there any setup that can boost up my performance? Or do you guys have similar issues and solved them?

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

My 128gb model went unstable when I put in a WD_BLACK 2tb ssd. This issue resolved when I put the factory SSD back in. If this is similar to your situation, maybe that will help? Also, if your on BIOS version 307. Which was noted to have issues with stability, Your can try rolling back to 306 or updating to 308. (I am currently on 308. Stable) and grab the latest chipset drivers from AMD Adrenaline. For what ever reason, armory crate and MyAsus lag behind Adrenaline on the driver deployments.

My BIOS is 308.

I didn't prefer to switch back to its original SSD because its 1tb only. Is this problem really with the SSD? I've also upgraded my wd black 2230 2tb to the latest firmware. All driver is updated.

The SSD firmware update fully resolved all of my issues. If your running windows, (I'm not) keeping memory on auto is probably the best bet. Best of luck.
