Rog Flow x16 - sound in linux

Is anyone running a linux os and having sound issues? No matter what distro I install it's the same. Very low sound and poor quality. In Windows the sound is perfect and when bluetooth speakers/usb speakers in linux it is perfect. The issue is just through the built in speakers

In Ubuntu 22.04 sound basically works, but from time to time there is a crackling sound from the right speaker. Its seems to be an issue with power saving in idle.
