Hello ASUS and AMD teams,
I’m one of many users around the world currently facing long-term support concerns regarding the ROG Flow X13 GV302XA — powered by Ryzen 9 7940HS and Radeon 780M.
Despite the device being released in 2023 and sold globally (especially in markets like Asia and Europe), there has been a significant lack of OEM-supported AMD driver updates or BIOS improvements since early 2024.
Many users—including myself—have reported issues like:
• AMD Adrenalin drivers (v24.x, v25.x) causing system instability
• Black screen crashes, DPC Watchdog Violations, and video scheduler failures
• Missing firmware/BIOS patches which may improve compatibility
At the same time, other manufacturers like Lenovo, Dell, Apple, or Framework offer clear and sustained driver/firmware support for 5+ years.
With due respect, we request ASUS and AMD to consider the following actions:
1. Provide a stable Radeon 780M driver certified for GV302XA
2. Deliver BIOS or firmware updates, if needed for platform stability
3. Clarify your future support roadmap for this device
We believe that users of the GV302XA deserve better longevity and system reliability. This system is powerful and premium-class—it shouldn't be left behind after just one year.
Sincerely,
An ROG user & contributor
