Hi,
Sorry may be this goes to another section of the forum, but I would like to propose to Asus to add a connector cable from thunderbolt 5 to the actual PCIe connector in the rog flows..I would buy for sure the new XG mobile as it is right now and pay extra to have that cable in the bundle, while I am sure that can run with the USB 4.0 in the right side it would make it more appealing to have that type of option too, plus I am sure other fellows will pay for it as well.
Thanks to all.

It would be awesome if they do make a connector/adapter for it so we can use the new XG mobile with the previous generation Flow Z13 or even the ROG Ally handhelds. I wonder what version of USB4 does the new Flow Z13 2025 have, as USB4 v1 only supports up to 40Gbps, while USB4 v2 supports up to 80-120Gbps and should technically be compatible with the TB5 protocol, which the new XG uses.

from here -> ROG Flow Z13 (2025) | Gaming laptops | ROG UK at least says "data speed up to 40Gbps" so I assume it is v1 like the X13..and I think I read one CES 25 review mention the same. So even the new Z13 seems to be in the same boat BUT I was not checking G14 or others that could have the v2... in any case if ASUS decide to make an adapter I think they will win a few more adepts to buy the XG 25' version and I will not change for now my X13 23' it is too good as it is.

So, the product page of the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) mentioned that the USB-C ports "support USB4, DisplayPort 2.1 video output, and Power Delivery 3.0". Doesn't that mean since it supports DP2.1, and DP2.1 is up to 80 Gbps speed, that technically these USB4 ports are indeed v2 at 80 Gbps?
