I have RoG Z13.. This just happen while I'm in class. Previously, mere 3hrs ago, I was still using it to play before going to class.. and it was fine.
In class I open it up and turned it on, then it was charging it but the laptop keeps dying/turning off. I thought I'd let it charge a bit before turning it on again.. But it's not really charging, just the initial plug in. I have tried the pulling the plug off then put it on again it charge initially but then turned off (the light/stop chargin) again..
Like, its seems like it can charge initially but then stop, I can turn it on as far as the login before it died/from not charging.. in the short moment before it died, in the login windown, I can see the charge indicator at the bottom empty but 'charging'.
The laptop's about a year old, I buy it in beginning of 2024 jan, though I'm pretty sure the model's from 2022. The I9, RAM 16GB, RTX3050Ti, 1T SSD. To be honest, I'm using desktop multi charger instead of the official charger which I leave at home, the multi charger's charging my tablet, phone, and power bank just fine.. My powerbank's 100W and experience same thing as my charger (it also has in/out indicator, it's out 40-60W initially but then stopped/dropped to 0,6-0,7).
I tried the holding down power button tricks but to no avail 😞 im really worried. It was fine couple of hours ago..
Anyone has any clue on how to fix this before going to service center? I'm not rly comfortable with service center due to scam and force format experience.

I can suspect that the unofficial charger killed the power controller on the tablet and a visit to the SC is inevitable. Alternatively, you can try charging it with the official charger in the lower Type-C port, which is paired with the plug for connecting the ROG XG mobile. If this does not work, take the tablet to the SC.
