I'm not too sure about 2230 M.2 drives, but Kioxia (formerly Toshiba) is a good brand. Make certain to get a NVMe drive, not a SATA drive.
microSD, however, is a terrible choice for PC gaming. The 2022 ROG Flow Z13 has a UHS-II reader built in, which can do up to around 300 MBytes/s, but that's SLOW for PC storage. Sandisk are good, but they don't do any UHS-II microSD cards in large capacity. UHS-I is limited to about 100 MBytes/s (although Sandisk do have some sort of overclocked UHS-I implementation that can push up to about 200 MBytes/s with a compatible controller on most of their Extreme range). The U3 speed class is something different, and not equivalent to UHS-III; their U3 microSD cards are UHS-I.
Your microSD reader is good for storing photos and videos, transferring them between cameras and your PC, between PCs, etc; but not as primary PC storage where performance matters.
You would be much better, particularly for running multi-GB games, to use a USB3 HDD or SSD. If you want a high performing ROG solution, take a look at the ROG Strix Arion USB3.2 Gen 2x1 (10 Gbit/s / 1 GByte/s) M.2 NVMe enclosure. Another alternative would be a Thunderbolt gaming dock (e.g. Seagate FireCuda Gaming Dock).

I am highly do not recommend to buy Kioxia, because they don't have good software to use it. My choice is Sabrent Rocket 4 https://ssdrive.net/sabrent-rocket-4-plus-1-tb that have PCIE-4.0 with maxed speeds and very good TBW. SD card will disappoint you with speed. Better to get 2xSSD or 2tb nvme ssd

The card you linked is a 2280, which is no good for a 2230 slot, it won't fit in the machine. I'm not certain, but I don't think Sabrent make 2230s?
