I have a Asus flow x16 and I’m pretty confused on how to update some of my drivers I do my graphics card through the geforce but I had my amd cpu and when I check on the asus site for my drivers it shows my AMD raid and realtek lan driver but I was looking stuff up and people said raid isn’t too helpful if you don’t need it but I’m not sure if I need it or not

Hello,

Most of those are dated 2022 so if your laptop has been updated to the latest version of Windows 11, 24H2 then it is not really worth updating some of them.

RAID drivers doesn't mean just suitable for RAID operation, that is when you link 2 hard drives together for performance or mirroring of the drives. (so if one drive fails, the other drive is a perfect clone and the laptop / PC will still operate). These can contain better drivers for the storage controller, default would be Microsoft storage drivers but as Windows is updated these also get updated (not always the case).

Anyway, do you need them? Based on the driver date being 2022 my answer would be no. You can check in device manager if you want to be sure.

Expand IDE/ATA / ATAPI controllers and Storage Controllers to see what you have. (property on those to tell you the driver / date.)
